Asay Family

So to be honest, I was quite nervous about this session...why you may ask? It was of a group of 19 people and I hadn't taken pictures of that many people since I worked at the portrait studio, so it'd been awhile! Turns out though I shouldn't have worried, taking these pictures was a lot of fun! Everyone was such good sports, especially since it was quite cold outside. The Asay family has been friends with my family for awhile and I'm glad they trusted me to take their family pictures-I hope you guys enjoy!

A lil' behind...

...on blogging my photoshoots! I'm a slacker, I know. I have more to add on here but I'll start with this one of the Miller Family, if you remember before ( or even scroll down just a bit ) you'll recall this little cutie:
Except for now, she's a year old! We were able to use up the last pretty day of fall this last Saturday and get some shots of this cute family-Emmaleah makes being a photographer soo easy-she's so smiley! Enjoy, and thanks again Miller Family for the fun, I hope you like them!

Emmaleah

I got the opportunity to take pictures of this cutie! Her mom, Lindsey, and I have been friends since high school-it's been fun to see her as a mother and watch Emmaleah grow. Emmaleah was so smiley the whole time which made it super easy to get such fun pictures. Thanks guys for such a fun time! :D

How cute is she?

My studly brother

Last weekend I was able to torture my little brother into letting me take pictures of him (actually, not much torturing was involved, he quite willingly let me do it, although he probably wouldn't wanna admit that ;) ). There had been a spot near my dad's house in Highland that I'd been eyeing for awhile to go and practice taking pictures at so we finally decided to just give it a try! Here are the results from our fun time:

Quite the stud eh? I'm quite glad I got some good faces out of him-usually he's just doing this all the time:

Always goofin' off...

Anywho, I'm so excited that it's finally starting to warm up! Everytime the sun starts going down I get so giddy that there's actually good lighting, pathetic I know-but what can I say? I love photography!!!

Landon's Pictures :)

I got to take pictures of this cutie today-isn't he adorable? Back when I worked at Sears' portrait studio his mom brought him in for his pictures and I was lucky enough to be able to take them again for her today. He loves trains, so we went to a place in Lehi with some awesome spots to take his pictures. I always love learning about new places to take pictures and I'm grateful his mom was patient-as was he-with me to figure out how to use the awesome stuff around us. Enjoy the pictures-and thanks guys for a fun time! :)

Abby's Baptism Pictures

I had the opportunity to take sweet Abby's baptism pictures. Abby's family is good friends with mine, and it's been fun seeing her grow up through the years. She was so much fun to photograph-very photogenic which made my job a lot easier! I hope you enjoy them!

I love this last one, it was her idea to pretend that she was praying-so sweet :)

First Post :)

Hey everyone! I'm proud to present my new photography blog!!! YAY! It's been a long work in progress, seeing as I don't have the internet at my apartment, but alas-I have finished it! Obviously there will be changes along the way but I'm proud of the product. Let me know if you have any suggestions though as well!!

I figured I'd start my photography blog out with one of my favorite sessions I've done-although, lets face it I love all of them. The reason being I really loved this one is because it's of my best friend, Ashley, and her husband Jacob. I was gone serving my mission in Tennessee at the time her and Jacob got married. It was a hard time, especially since the plan was to always be at each other's weddings. However, before I left I did get to do her engagement pictures and then had the opportunity to redo her wedding/bridal pictures. I loved doing them and loved trying out new stuff with her, her and Jacob are perfect for each other and I couldn't have asked for a better man for her. I hope you enjoy them as well!
