Moore Family

I got the chance to take pictures of this awesome family a few weeks ago! Colt's cousin, Dana and her family moved her from California a few months ago and we've loved getting to know them. We took the chance to go up the beautiful canyon and snap a few family photos, check out a few of my favorites!

The Barwick Family

How cute is this little family? I met Lindsey working at the credit union, soon after she was pregnant with this cutie and I was so excited to be able to take their family pictures before they head off to their next adventure-moving to Florida where Ronnie got a job working for Disney! Can you say awesome? Looks like the hubby and I are gonna have to just go out there and visit them sometime, darn. Enjoy some of my favorite pictures I captured! 

Porter Jacob

So remember when I posted here about my best friend getting married? Well now she has a sweet baby boy! Porter Jacob Nelson was born December 8th 2011! He's such a sweet baby and it's been so fun to see Ashley so easily fit the role of being his mother. I got the opportunity to go and take his pictures today (1 month old!) and had a lot of fun doing it, Ashley made the cute little hammock you'll see in some of the pictures, as well as the cute little hat he was wearing. :) Thanks for letting me take these Ashley & Jacob!

McKayla's Senior pictures

I had the chance to take McKayla's senior pictures yesterday and had so much fun doing it! She made my job so easy, she's so photogenic! I had a hard time picking out which ones to post on here cause I had so many pictures, so sorry if it's a picture overload! :P Thanks for an awesome time McKayla!

Black and White

I recently just finished taking a black and white film photography class at UVU this semester, it was an awesome learning experience. My husband would tell you that I most definitely didn't wanna do it at the beginning of the semester, it seemed like something hard and I didn't think I'd have the guts to pull it off-thankfully he was patient and encouraging and I did stick with the class and I'm so glad I did! I learned so much about photography and loved shooting in film. There's nothing quite like the look of black and white film. Since the class has been over I've been playing with my digital camera and using it's black and white settings, here's a few that I've taken just for fun. I'll get my actual film prints scanned on here soon and show you my work from this last semester!

Dalan's Senior Pictures

I was lucky enough to be able to take my little brother's senior pictures yesterday-I can't believe he's graduating soon! I had a lot of fun taking these pictures, Dalan's a stinker when it comes to wanting to smile for the camera so to get him to smile took some dancing and some really lame jokes on my part, but what worked the best was him making fun of my silly jokes and cracking his own, which in turn made him laugh at himself. He thought he was so funny :P It worked though and I got some great pictures of my little bro. I'm so proud of the man he's becoming and am grateful for the chance I had to take them!
